Courses offered
All these colleges offer various UG & PG level courses
divided into B-tech programs and M-tech program. A degree in engineering will
give you the prospect of working on the world- changing technological
developments. Under the B-tech course
students in the first two years are taught advanced concepts of mathematics,
physics, and chemistry, basics of computer programming, statistics, engineering
drawing. There may be humanities related courses like English; communication
skills and some branch related disciplines. During the third and final year,

Whereas under M.Tech/ME which is a wide ended course whereby

Eligibility
The eligibility to get admission to these courses is the same
as that of any other city.
Passed in 12th or
equivalent from a recognized board with physics, chemistry and mathematics as a
major subject with 50% aggregate or equivalent CGPA. Entrance test authorities
generally distribute application forms in January. The exams may be from April
to May, and the results are announced in May. The admissions to engineering
colleges and technology institutions generally start from May.
