Reasons to choose Best PGDM Colleges in Delhi NCR rather than MBA

Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a management course offered by institutes which are autonomous bodies and are not affiliated with any universities.  Most of the PGDM colleges in India are accredited and recognized by All India Council of technical education (AICTE). All the IIMs provide PGDM and not MBA degree and it is needless to say that they are the best PGDM colleges in India. Both PGDM and MBA aims at bringing out best traits amongst the students. But still there are few differences between the both. The major differences between PGDM and MBA Degree are:

The difference of accreditation: Master of business administration i.e MBA degree is provided by universities or their affiliated colleges. Whereas, PGDM is a diploma and is provided by best PGDM colleges in Delhi NCR India which are autonomous bodies and are not recognized by any university. However, as mentioned earlier as well such colleges are accredited by All India Council of technical education.

The difference in the curriculum: Though there is not much difference in curriculum, there is the difference in approach of the courses. MBA degree focuses more on theoretical aspects whereas diploma focuses more on practical exposure and is more keen on developing soft skills.

PGDM is more flexible: Being autonomous allows best PGDM colleges in India to be more flexible as compared to MBA colleges which are required to follow rules set by universities. PGDM colleges can mould their programme and course according to changing industrial need at their own whereas MBA colleges are required to seek permission from respective universities to make any sort of changes in the curriculum.

PGDM is expensive: Being autonomous also implies that these colleges have to bear all their expenses art their own that is the reason course in best PGDM colleges in India is expensive as compared to course in the college offering MBA as they can get aid from universities to bear their expenses.

The agenda and motive behind both the courses are same, both aim to develop managerial and leadership skills amongst students. These courses help to develop entrepreneur skills and the career opportunities after any of these courses is immense in both public and private sector. By the end of this course, an individual is groomed perfectly,  it helps to polish other personality traits of an individual from their soft skills to their interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
